Onthe first day of school in Wakaaranga, I started in year 2. I was in Mrs Grantham class. First I played with some joining blocks. One piece was stuck together so I asked someone, That's when I met Joshua! We became great friends.
After that, I went outside and played on the playground. When the bell rang, everyone went inside, so I went i
n too. It was a great day for my first day of school.I liked it here.
On Sunday I went to Denny's for lunch. I had pasta fettucini carbonara and my mum and my brother had mince and cheese pie. After that me and my brother Keegan had our faces painted. I had a skull and Keegan had two butterflies on his cheek. Later on I played outside with Keneth and Krish and Keegan. Then I played on my PS3. I played Assassin's Creed 2.
How To walk onto a Marae
This is how to walk onto a Marae correctly. First we have to wait at the carved gate until they welcome us to the Marae, then we have walk slowly to the Meeting House. After that we have to hongi (hand shake and nose press.) Later on, we have to wash our hands before going to the wharekai (dining hall) and eat kai (food).

Maori people celebrate Matariki when the Pleiades is seen early in the morning.
Aotearoa celebrates Matariki once a year.
They had lots of food like pork, potato, chicken, lamb, cabbage, mussels, pumpkin and more food.
Aotearoa is the Maori word for New Zealand.
Ranginui is the father of the sky.
It's important to celebrate Matariki for the Maori and the people who died.
Kai is needed for a feast.
I love Matariki.
